Dennis Elmers is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Rebecca’s Homestead. He is blessed to have Michele as his wife and to have fathered four uniquely different children with her -- two girls and two boys -- who today are young ladies and men. Along with Michele, Dennis has owned and operated Homestead Lawn Sprinkler Co. Inc. for 40 years.

 

Dennis has at various times been a youth leader, Sunday School teacher, trustee and deacon in their church. He is also a member of the National and State Irrigation Associations and, in the past, has served as a State Trustee and Educational Chairman in his trade association. He has spent years volunteering with youth and young adult athletic organizations, numerous non-profits, and wildlife and natural resource organizations. From the time he was a young boy, Dennis, through his parents, has been allowed to learn from and serve a diverse population of people with unique life situations. He believes that exposure has helped prepare him for the journey he is on today, a journey of serving and working with the differently-abled population, helping them to live more complete and fulfilling lives.
