Rebecca's Work Day, 8/20/22

Saturday, August 20, 2022, saw not one but TWO work projects going on at Rebecca's Homestead. While a crew of volunteers from Sussex County Habitat ripped the roof off one of the storage sheds on the property (and then re-roofed it), another crew was doing tree work. The tree work became necessary due to the fact that there are quite a few ash trees around the property that needed to come down. We were once again blessed to have the professional services of Joe Tree (real name: Joe Gorgolione) of Hopatcong and his two workers, Jose and Giovanni. Several volunteers showed up to assist Joe & Co. and about 20 trees were taken down. Branches were hauled to the wood chipper and logs were cut up and moved to the perimeter. A great big THANK YOU to Sussex County Habitat and Joe Tree for a job well done!
