About 20-25 volunteers converged on Rebecca’s Homestead on Saturday, October 2nd, for "Fence Building Day, Part 2". Once again, friends of RH showed up from all over: from Englishtown, NJ to Allentown, PA -- and even Maryland!
Volunteers worked in groups of three installing fencing around the same section of property that was cleared of trees during Fence Building Day, Pt 1, back in March. (This newly-fenced-in area will eventually become a Christmas Tree Farm for the residents.)
At the same time, another group of volunteers built a self-closing door for the entrance to the area surrounding the new chicken coop. Great job, guys!
A heartfelt THANK YOU from Dennis, Michele, and Rebecca to all the volunteers - both men and women - who showed up to help out.
