Rebecca's Homestead welcomed several Nigerian Dwarf breed goats on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Like the American Pygmy goat, they derive from the West African Dwarf group of breeds and we will be planning lots of opportunities for visits with our newest "residents" at the homestead this summer.
Thank you to volunteers Jeff Young, Russel VanOudenaren and Emery for their help on Saturday, and to our newest staff member -- and all-around amazing farm woman, Kim -- for helping the goats make a smooth transition.
